At the beginning of 2007 three of us decided to row 100 miles from London to Oxford in a Victorian Camping Skiff. On the week we were meant to do it the Environment Agency issued a severe weather warning and banned all boats, including powered vessels, from navigating the Thames. Lock Keepers warned us that to carry on would be suicide. We decided to postpone till 24th May 2008... This blog if for fun, friends and family.
